My dad was telling me that once they evacuated the jail ,in the flood of 2008, and locked the doors no one has been back in the building since.  They are still using the radio equipment in the building via remote controls.  If they have any hardware problems they are in big trouble!  They are still working on figuring out where the new jail will be built.  One possibility is by the new high school which I don’t think is the image you want people to see as the first thing coming into town.
